Scott Copeman is an educator and musician currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. Scott studied composition at the University of Sydney before undertaking postgraduate studies, also at the University of Sydney, in the form of a Master of Teaching. Scott was awarded his AMusA (Associate Diploma) in pianoforte by the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) in 1997. Scott has won awards for both composition and pianoforte. He has many years experience as an educator having musically directed many performances for youth music and theatre companies around Sydney. He has been teaching music since 2002. In Sydney, Australia, he has taught at James Ruse Agricultural High School and Sydney Church of England Grammar School (Shore). Scott currently teaches music at Craigmount High School in Edinburgh. He is an active composer and also sings with the accomplished Edinburgh Singers. |
